We are now adding Bible themes, stories and messages to our curriculum! I feel that it is very important to let kids know that God loves them and cares for them! I am putting this curriculum together using several sources including hubbardscupboard.org, ccvillage.com, The Mailbox, abcjesuslovesme.com, makinglearningfun.com, and daniellesplace.com.
We will still be learning all the basics like we always have. We will practice our self-help skills, social skills, fine and gross motor skills, letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and more! We will have songs and poems, sensory play and physical skills during each "theme" and we will review the things we have already learned periodically and build from there.

Sometimes during the year you will see more "projects" coming home than usual. Let your child be proud. He or she works hard on these. Yes, paperwork builds quickly, but it's about the process...as he or she does, he or she learns. Discuss the items with your child like, "Oh, I see you used blue, orange and white crayons. Tell me about what you drew." Don't try to guess what it is.
